Hello, I'm trying to develop on SPC5 Studio with the eval board SPC574S-DISP. I want to make a link between LIN and the software tera term to debug my code. I configured pins PA5 and PA6 for LIN according to the schematics. But it didn't work. Can you help me ? Hello, I'm actually trying to send data from the software Serial Port Monitoring to my dev board SPC574S-DISP.But it doesn't work. When i send a number like "3", it works.But when i try to send "3,3" or "12", the board takes only the first number "3" or "1" and not the others. Can you help me ? Hi.I want to use DPI2 located at pins 66 (miso), 68 (mosi) and 112 (clock) to control two different SPI slave devices. Pin 57 (CS0) and pin 64 (CS2) are wired to the respective chip selects.Then I used the wizards to generate application code for SPI2, using CS0 in hardware. Works like a charm.But how can I add the second device, also using SPI2 and a different chip select? When I try to duplicate my SPI setting and changing the chip select line, the application stop using the former CS0 completely.Controller is SPC58EC80E5QMC0, using SPC5studio 6 "asimov".Thanks.Edit: SPC5Studio offers options like hardware continuous, hardware discontinuous, software. Why is there no documentation, what those options actually do?

Hi Technical Team,Where can i find application note or sample program for working with NMI interrupt in SPC560P Disp board.

while using the DSPI example in spc58ec_disp , i couldn't see that the "spi_lld_select" and "spi_lld_unselect " functions usage to control the slave pin. and it didn't had any effect while i used the functions. how could i use the functions to control the chip select line.

Recently i bought the eval l9963 bms board from st. As i was playing with it with a 4 cell ​li-ion battery connected in series. I'm trying to monitor the battery using the STSW gui software. I connected the batteries as per the user guide connected it to co,c1,c13 and c14 respectively. Also provided the vbatt and gnd. But i'm getting the voltages abruptly. Each cell consists of 4 volts, total volt is 16. But the monitor shows only upto 11.5 volts. That too the c0 is under voltage at 2.5v ,c1 is over voltage at 5.8v,c13 is 0 and c14 is 3.6v. Could any experts guide me what i'm doing wrong here.

I have bought the SPC582B-DIS EVB from Mouser. (SPC582B-DIS STMicroelectronics | Mouser Korea, Republic of)However, this product doesn't work normally. I think there is a problem with FDTI Dirver chip as below.So, I asked Mouser for a refund. However, they asked me to confirm from ST that there was a problem with the product. Please, help me for a refund. Thank you.

Specifically for the SPC58 -- although it looks like the 56/57 share the same registers. I've reviewed the documentation for the time base registers (TBU/TBL) and have made an attempt to enable it. Leaving the timebase clock (SEL_TBCLK) at the processor clock the documentation indicates I should enable the timebase by writing 0x1 to HID0[TBEN]. I've applied the the required syncronization before and after the mtspr instruction (HID is SPR 1008). HID0[TBEN] continues to indicate it is not enabled and the TBL/TBU registers are inaccessible. I can toggle on the ICR bit (or many others in the HID0 register), but TBEN continues to elude me.What basic requirement am I missing?Thanks

Hi Technical team.I want to configure both F12 and F13 as input pin. When i am trying to configure F12 and F13 as input pin in PinMap Editor , it gives error (attached the error screen). I tried this on sample project "SPC560Pxx_RLA SERIAL Test Application for Discovery".Hardware used : SPC560P DispPlease suggest me your ideas to solve this issue

DearI noticed there are 64K core local RAM in the MCU SPC584C70E3. Does this area is used exclusively by the processor core? Can it be used as general SRAM by user code? If can, how to use it? Thanks!

I have just installed SPC5Studio 6.0 and I have opened GTM DPLL Test Application. I am getting the "Unresolved inclusion" error for#include "components.h"#include <build/mcs/mcs0.h>How do I resolve this? I don't seem to have any folders like the ones given for previous versions.

Hello,I can generate 4 PWMs ( 2 x Complementary Pair) with dead-time but I want to add phase-shift to a complementary pair which is one of them. How can I implement this?Best Regards

There is no file named DTM_UART.hex  in the installed folder of STSW-BLUENRG-DK.I reinstalled 2 times. please guide and there is no proper mention of the connections required in AEK-COM-BLEV1.pdf.

Hi,I've got the latest SPC5Studio 6 with all updates (gcc4.9.4) and testing on the SPC560D40L1 chip with the discovery board. So core is e200z0h VLE.I want to manipulate the flash in my app so I need to call some code from the RAM. I added the necessary sections in the application.ld, and the necessary attribute for my method :__attribute__ ((section (".codeinram"))) void method_in_ram()I'm calling this method from flash codevoid flash_method() { method_in_ram()}All this compile correctly (no warning, no error), but this crashes during debug with invalid opcode...I decompiled the hex, found that the flash_method content is not VLE code but PPC code !! e200z0h does not support PPC but only PPC VLE. Why is gcc creating PPC opcodes to call a method in RAM ? I tried to add longcall attribute but it does not help ...Any help appreciated!Thanks

Hi,In the sample application for SPC584BXXX flash test, the hex file is written on RAM and then executed. I need the hex file to get written on flash and then write some data on other specific sectors of flash. So I modified the linker script by changing the RAM sections by flash at some places but the program doesn't work as expected. Please help me to get an appropriate solution so that the hex gets written on flash and the FlashWrite Flashinit, FlashErase etc. will work as expected.Thanks in advance.

Current FOC code Part of SPC_MCTK_01 has the L9907 driver code, We are trying to replace the l9907 driver code with L6230 driver code to suite our custom BLDC motor drive. Please guide us which and what part of the software has to be changed in order to make this integration correct.
