Automotive MCUs

I want to enable the checker core in SPC570S0. In the technical reference manual (RM0349) Pg.- 263 a bit is given to enable the checker core under UTEST DCF memory registers. I just want to know how to access these memory registers from the SPC5 application.It will be really helpful if I could get some advice as to how to access other settings in the register level.

Hi, This is Saravanan Iam working to Develop a BLDC motor drive for 2 wheeler and 3 wheeler For that our hardware team choose the SPC family microcontroller but not yet finialzed the specific controller but it SPC5 family only meanwhile our software team going to understand the EnvionmentFrom our understanding for SPC controller we have specific IDE called SPC5studio (Correct me if i wroung)I download the SPC5 studio6.0.0 in my PC in that I have lot of doubt, Iam already familiar with the STM32CUBE IDE but it some what diiferent in this I don't know how to generate a empty code or a led bliking code I get some videos from internet in that also they explained about how to generate the Example code for SPC controller in the SPC5 studio IDe Can anyone explain me how to generate a code and confoguration the GPIO,UART,TIMER etc and how to generate the Driver code for a any SPC controller it very useful for our projrcty development Because we are new to this one Thanks in advanceSaravan

In the description for SPC5-UDESTK ,It was mentioned that '' includes a perpetual, full-feature, limited code-size (256 kBytes) license '' . I want to know that what is this limited code size(256 kBytes) license means?

Hello, pin map editor is buggy for pins 88/89 of SPC564A80L7 and set always these pins as CAN and not eSCI when the pin map editor is opened and closed, code is generated as CAN!I have modified thse pins function then directly in the code.Thanks for your attention,Best regards.

What does it mean CUT?I suppose is a CPU identification tag, but I'm not sure.I developing a project with SPC5 studio V.6.0, but I don't understand which file I must include in my project between spc574k_cut24.h and spc574k.h.I see there are some example for CUT 2.3 and CUT 2.4 but I don't known the differences.Can anybody help me, please?Thank you very much.Best regardsE.

I'm working on a school project where I need to use OTA in order to update my code but I can't find any documentation or example to be able to implement it in the SPC582B-DIS.

I put this here and in MEMS and Sensors, but after browsing for a component, I'm not finding any sensor ICs for automotive TPMS systems in the category of pressure transducers/transmitters used for these systems. Is there no such ST component or am I just not finding it?Thanks,TM

I recognized that a lot of components are incompatible with my SPC574S-DISP-Board. Why? It looks like its available on the K-Version.

I would like to implement the flash programming to our JTAG tool.Are there any documents that describe OnCE module and the Nexus read/write (R/W) access block? Such as those described in AN4035. The only thing that AN4035 is inapplicable for SPC58 device.Thanks all.​​

Hello all.I'm playing around with the PIT interrupts and im finding that after setting up 3 seperate timers with different interrupt rates with the same priority setup in the IRQ Component rla. Hi,I am using a SPC570S-DISP development board, and I am trying to create a new application form that. I have tested out a few example application given in the IDE, and they work fine. Now I want to develop such an application from scratch. However, there seem to be no guide as such, showing the necessary step to follow in order to properly configure the application. I have also referred the Help section.One problem that I came across is that, in the MCU wizard, I am unable to configure any of the peripherals. When I click on one of the peripherals, no options seem to appear. Is there a document that can be referred, or a tutorial that I can follow?Thanks.Dinuke

Im new into the SPC5-Studio. For the beginning it would help to have a document which shows me how to implement a Signal or sth else. For my 574s-Mcu there is just one example to let an led blink. IS there maybe a library of all Functions like togglepad like i saw in this example? The most documents or Helps are focussing on components like the AutoDevKit or GTM, but they are not compatible to my MCU.

Hello,I have problems to flash a SPC5 MCU using UDE STK 4.8. I am using the PLS USB/JTAG Adapter for SPC5xxx. I have seen similar problems in this forum but I have tried different things during several hours and not solution has been reached.I am using Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, version 1903.I was able to use the program without problems the first day I installed it. However, problems appeared the day before. I tried also to install it in another laptop. It worked but once I shut it down and started again, it started to fail. Always with the same message.I have tried different things:Reinstall UDE.Reinstall drivers from Program Files (x86)\pls\UDE Starterkit 4.8\Driver\JtagUsbDriverActivate VCP (Virtual Com Port) in the device manager options.Uninstall UDE, restart computer, install UDE.Please, could you give me a new solution for this problem? This issue is delaying our team to deliver on time the software release to our customer. Thank you very much.

Hi All,has anyone been able to get the inegration of UDE to work from within SPC5Studio (6.0)?the DEBUG button is grayed-out.Debug works fine from outside, but I would like to spawn it fro within the development IDE.I tried to install the extension by going under:Help > Install New Software...> Add.. > Archive...and picked the ZIP file "UDEEclipse4Integration.zip" found in the UDE STK5.0 install folder.SPC5Studio won't let me proceed because of an inconsistency:

However, the value of the variable does not update. Is it possible to setup the Watch section, such that the variables are refreshed continuously ?Thank youNisal
