st.com website

Good afternoon.

I'm not sure this is the place to post this but here's the issue.  As of today, 9/13/2024, when I go to the st.com website I get an endless barrage of ST adverts that can't be stopped or bypassed.  I never get to the login panel, there's no search options and I don't know how long or how many ST pages will be displayed before the site releases the page to get something done.  How do I stop the page so I can get somewhere else in the st.com domain.  I'm unable to search, download, or log in.

Not sure what you're seeing, but the main pane animates, but the search and other buttons look to work fine here.

Current Chrome, Win 10 Box

Hi.

Now using the same browser, Firefox on Linux, without having shut it down for a restart and the st.com site is working normally without changing any config.  No explanation for this.

Thanks,

TJM

More info.  I've disabled the ad blocker on the st.com site, refreshed, and the wait icon has disappeared. I can access the log in panel and log in.  I had to recover a lost password for some reason, which was odd.  I've then re-enabled the ad blocker and the site is still accessible, the wait icon is still gone,  and the site appears normal, except that no matter the config of the ad blocker, if I log out of the site then re-enter the st.com site, I'm still logged in.  As of right now, access to the st.com site appears normal with all my configs exactly the same as they have been for over a year, with the exception that the logout function shows a logout but it doesn't actually log me out.  Logging out, closing and restarting the browser, then re-entering the st.com site still has me logged in.  Bottom line is that I can do what I need to do on the site now, so I'm not sure where you folks want to go with this.

Thanks,

TJM
