Hi,

I have been working with the blueNRG mesh network library, and have been looking into the demo lighting application using two IDB0008V2 boards. I have noticed that to provision the unprovisioned nodes to the network you have to use the android or ios application to do this. I was wondering is there was a way to make one of the development boards the provisioner. If this functionality is not available what solution would you propose?

Thanks for your evaluation

You are right, we recommend the Android or iOS App for provisioning

The Apps can provide much more functionality and flexibility vs an Embedded Provisioner.

You can create a network using the Apps and then the network do not need Apps to be available all the time. The nodes communication can work using publish and subscribe paradigm. So, in the example available in SDK, you can send the message from one node to another by pushing the user button (PUSH1 on STEVAL-IDB008V2)
