BlueNRG-MS device name openly writtable

Hi,

When the chip is initiated with GAP_INIT, it automatically creates a device name and appearance characteristics. Those are created with write properties, allowing anyone to rewrite the name of the device. I don't find any command that would allow to change the property to read only.

Any help?

Hi,

attribute permissions for device name and appearance characteristic are implementation specific and cannot be changed.

I'm not sure I understand. By 'implementation specific' you mean STMicro's implementation?
