Changing name on the device?

I would like to change the names of my devices (at the device), and it looks like the BTLE spec says that Write access is "Optional" https://bit.ly/2NYnkvo

Is it better to do that (and how would you do that, since it's in the aci_gap_init function and not the usual aci_gatt functions?)

If I were to make a GATT string property and update that, do I reboot the device to update its name?
