Connecting SPWF01SA to hidden SSID

Hi,

I need to have a SPWF01SA module connect to a Wi-Fi router with hidden SSID.

The first operation the module tries upon starting is '+WIND:21:WiFi Scanning' which completes with the result '+WIND:35:WiFi Scan Complete (0x0)' so the handshake can't proceed.

The module is already fully configured with SSID, password, DNS and so on. It connects successfully as soon as the SSID is made visible.

How can I overcome the void scanning at the beginning and force the connection?

    Use latest FW 3.5.3.

    Then, use wifi_region (default: 1; set >= 2) variable to allow module to perform an active scan, and find hidden AP.

    By default, module will not perform an active scan into channels where there is no activity.

    Even with the latest firmware, module not connects with hidden AP
