How to tell when BlueNRG is transmitting?

I'm working on a product where the BlueNRG RF during transmit is affecting our measurements. I was wondering if the TEST8 or TEST9 pins would be useful in avoiding the periods when BlueNRG is transmitting? I noticed the pins listed at the bottom of the BlueNRG IFR window of the BlueNRG GUI. I'm trying to find more documentation about the pins.
Additionally, would it be reasonable to leave the BlueNRG-MS in test mode for a production device? Is power consumption or other performance affected much by this test mode?
