IDW01M1 (SPWF01SA) Hands-on training issues

Hello everyone! I'm new here and this is my firt question.

I've been trying for a while to use the X-NUCLEO-IDW01M1, with poor success: I can't even build the example projects in the X-CUBE-WIFI1 software expansion package into System Workbench! But this is not what I'm asking about right now.

Few days ago I found this Wi-Fi training Hands-On (

 ) and finally I can see something runs. Unfortunately, I still encounter some issues:
  1. Lab 4: Push data on serial port. I'm trying to connect to [module's IP address]/output_demo.html, but it seems I can't connect to that IP at all! I tried with every other built-in html pagewith no results
  2. Lab 8: MiniAP mode. I can't connect to captiveportal.net, it redirects
  3. Lab 13: Socket Server functionality. I can't turn from Data Mode to Command Mode

I hope you can help me as soon as possible.

I'm using the IDW01M1 with an STM32F401RE because of a university project, I can't change or upgrade these devices, and I have to use the Wi-Fi functionalities I'm trying to understand in a bigger and more complex project.

    Dear,

    following my comments:

    1) please check the http service is enabled on SPWF01:

    AT+S.GCFG=ip_use_httpd

    #  ip_use_httpd = 1

    2) what do you mean with 'it redirects'? for a fast MiniAP setup you can keep pressed the SW2 button while resetting the IDW01M1, then connect your station to the MiniAP (ssid is something like iwm-XY-WZ-JK) and get captiveportal.net: you should get the firstset page.

    3) please be sure the escape sequence is typed in one shot (<250ms).

    Finally, can you share the FW version of your SPWF01 (AT+S.STS=version)?

    For your information, a new FW (3.6.0) for SPWF01Sx has been recently released and available at

    Hello Elio,

    thanks a lot for replying!

    1) I checked the http service, it was disabled, now I enabled it

    2) I mean 'captiveportal.net' redirected to 'www.tonymorella.com', but I'm gonna give another try following your instructions.

    The FW version is 160129-c5bf5ce-SPWF01S.
