SPBT2632C1A additional information

I just purchased a couple modules (SPBT2632C1A) for Blue Tooth 3.

I'm trying to familiarize myself with them before they are arrive and there seems to be a lack of information out there.

The DS provides some basic info, the UM talks about the AT commands, but there really doesn't seem to be an Users Guide in the sense of how to do anything?

Some of the GPIO pins have a predefined functions such as Connection Status Probe / Active Status Probe.........but no where does it explain what those are.

Is there another doc I am missing?  Can someone point me to the right place to ask or where I might find the right docs?
