SPBTLE-RF & SPBTLE-RFTR differences and availability

Hi,

I designed a board based on SPBTLE-RF few months ago. It seems that the component has been replaced by the SPBTLE-RFTR recently.

Is everything the same between the two chip? (I guess as it's the same datasheet)

I checked on Mouser and Farnell, there is some manufacturing delay to get the SPBTLE-RFTR. Any ideas if it will be available soon?

The SPBTLE-1S has a different form factor, so I prefer to stick on BLE 4.1 for now...

I just checked on Mouser website. It say "new product" with the SPBTL-RFTR but it doesn't seems available until... august 2019 !!

I can understand if ST focus on new version like the SPBTLE-1S, but why waiting a year and half to have the older SPBTLE-RF (or RFTR) available again?
