Hi,

is it possible to use a splitter to have two wifi antennas with the SPWF moduls?

One antenna would be in side the housing, the second antenna shall have a cable with 1m length, e.g.

http://www.teltonika.lt/de/product/wifi-antenna-5dbi-magnetic-type/

Using the modules u.fl connector and connect a cable with a SMA connector, then using a SMA splitter to connect the internal and the external antenna.

Are there any experiences about this?

BR,

Flow

Sometimes - the second, external antenna shall be optional mountable to increase the range if the device is mounted in a steel box. So the antenna will be outside of this box...

You can mount 2 antennas, and use only one of them. Use a switch to select the antenna to use.

I'm not an RF expert, but I think cannot use 2 antennas at the same time.
