starting with s2-lp

Hello everyone!! im starting with a proyect that final objective is communicate using sigFox. ok. step by step
i have been all day reading about s2-lp (pcb design, RF bands , etc), i decided buy some dev kit ( STEVAL-FKI868V1) . also buy the s2-lp and the components. i have two questions � what is the IDE to program? � use some usb - spi converter to program directly s2-lp?. any extra suggestion will be a big help.
