STPM3x Evaluation Board Shorting

I am working with the STPM34/STPM33 chip and using the STPM34 evaluation board. I have noticed in my own hardware and the eval boards that when you attach power to measure voltage it shorts something and blows up.

Is this a known issue? Is there a known solution.

I attached a photo. Looks like a resistor that's blowing.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your reply. I think I figured this out. It's when you reverse neutral and L1 it will blow.

Unfortunately, you have not shown how you have connected your setup. I can see the connection wires of the Rogowski coils, but otherwise a blue and a brown wire for mains. Blue is usually connected as neutral, brown as live. Is that the same for you?

How is L2 connected?

/Peter
