HI,I'm a beginner. I should set up some STEVAL-MIC007V1 MEMS microphones. I have Nucleo-F401RE and X-Nucleo-AMICAM1. I have already downloaded the X-CUBE-MEMSMIC1 software package.Is it sufficient to install the UltrasoundFFT.exe executable or is it necessary to download additional software to use MEMS microphones?Thank you

Hey everyone,I am new to the lsm6dsv16x sensor and I would like to set it up to read the full fifo as an interrupt vs polling due to speed. I am following the example from github setting up my gpio as an external event for interrupt int1. https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/master/lsm6dsv16x_STdC/examples/lsm6dsv16x_fifo_irq.cBut I am having an issue where the interrupt does not trigger unless I remove and put back the wire from the pin on the dev board. And only reads one or two times unless I remove the wire and put it back on the gpio. Any idea why this is happening? I am not sure why this is happening. I checked the pin and it is low without the imu interrupt pin, and it stays high with the interrupt pin connected. Not sure if I need pull ups or pull downs on the interrupt pin. Also, Do I need to  wake up the accelerometer when I need it? or can it stay on at all times?    void accelerometerInit() {

Hi,I've been working with the LIS2DH12 sensor for quite some time, primarily utilizing the X and Y axes without any issues. However, for a new project, I also need to incorporate the Z-axis. I've noticed that while the acceleration values reported are accurate, in terms of absolute value, the sign is the opposite than expected.Is this a bug already known? I haven't found any ticket or post talking about it, and it seems strange to me.I am expecting the following axis reference.Every time I put the sensor oriented with the X or Y axis pointing down (totally vertical), I get +1g acceleration, but if do the same with the Z-Axis, I get -1g acceleration.Could any one help me?Thank you in advance.Regards,Luis 

Hello STM32 community,I've been examining the lsm303agr.h file from STMicroelectronics for the LSM303AGR accelerometer, and I came across something puzzling in line 197. In the code, it defines LSM303AGR_ACC_SENSITIVITY_2G as ((uint8_t)1), but according to the LSM303AGR datasheet, the linear acceleration sensitivity at ±2 g in normal mode is 3.9mg/LSB.Could someone help me understand why there's a discrepancy between the code definition and the datasheet specifications? I'm curious about the reasoning behind this difference and how it might impact the usage of the accelerometer in my project.Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide!

Hi all,I have a question regarding the LSM6DSL's gyroscope high-pass filter configuration.For LSM6DS3, there is an option to reset the high-pass with HP_G_RST = 1. This way, the DC component of the angular velocity is immediately removed, c.f. https://community.st.com/ysqtg83639/attachments/ysqtg83639/mems-sensors-forum/21052/2/AN4650.PDF, figure 5, page 26.How can I achieve the same with the LSM6DSL? According to the datasheet and application notes (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5040-lsm6dsl-alwayson-3d-accelerometer-and-3d-gyroscope-stmicroelectronics.pdf) there is no such option here. I just tried setting the same bit of CTRL7_G to 1 but without the desired effect. Unfortunately, I can't wait for the filter to fully settle down for several seconds to minutes at its lowest cutoff frequency. Are there any workarounds?Kind regardsFelix

since LPS22HH support one byte read or multiple byte read. wonder how LPS22HH handles the last bit on I3C because last bit in Read data is 'T', rather than ACK/NACK from I3C Controller. How does LPS22HH (target) know Controller need single or mulitple byte read. 

Hello, I am currently running the MEMSMIC1 audio streaming example via usb with 4 channels and it works fine, but Because i am using the nucleo-wb55 board that has a pdm interface supporting up to 3 microphone pairs I want to use as many microphones as possible.Which specific files in the memsmic1 project do i need to adjust to support the streaming of 6 microphones?

hello,     i'm working on ASM330LHH IMU sensor, here raw value is continuously fluctuating even sensor is in untouch condition(fluctuation is between -1 to 6). is it possible to make it zero? so how can i stop this fluctuation. plz share suggetions or method.

Hi,I have attempted to follow the AN5201 application note page 26 to configure the IIS2DLPC accelerometer to generate an interrupt at every threshold however this interrupt is never generated. I have tried to print the value of SIXD_SRC register and that is always reporting 0 so I assume that's the reason for not generating an interrupt? Hello,I am working with the IIS3DWB for a vibration monitoring sensor, and have a few questions about the ODR (Output Data Rate) accuracy, hoping someone can help me.1. I know that on the datasheet the ODR accuracy is stated as +-1% typ, or +-2% Max.I want to know, does this accuracy specification include using the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register to correct the ODR (See page 45)? If we use the contents of that register is the tolerance considered more accurate?2. I am also curious if anyone knows the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register is set once in manufacture, or if the contents change over time. Should I read this register once or read it regularly to update my data rate correction.2.a. I know there is also a characteristic to describe the ODR change with respect to temperature. Is this characteristic captured in the adjustment provided by the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register? I have followed the instructions in DT0147 "Advanced design tips for the machine learning core and finite state machine using Unico-GUI", and have attempted to merge the FSM and MLC files into one .ucf for use in our product. Unfortunately, when I uploaded the new .ucf file, I noticed that neither the FSM, nor the MLC portions were working.Looking into the merged .ucf file, I noticed that the very beginning does not start like the rest of the .ucf files I have created in the past, namely the turning off of the accelerometer and gyroscope and entering the embedded function mode. I am several questions about the datasheet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Firstly, I don't understand why the linear acceleration sensitivity in table 3 Sensor characteristics has a value of 11.72 mg/LSB for +-16g in high resolution (HR) mode.In HR mode : n = 12 bits. So +/-16g => range : 32g Sensitivity = Range / 2^n = 32 / 4096 = 7.8125 mg/LSB  In the datasheet you give 11.72mg/LSB... (48/2^12 = 11.72mg/LSB but why 24 * 2 ?)My calculations are good with your result from Table 3 for each mode and for each full-scale EXCEPT for +/-16g. I'm using Hypsometric formula to Calculate Altitude by using Pressure & Temperature. ( Source Code used to read the sensor https://github.com/stm32duino/LPS22HB )The Pressure value & Temperature are not in Sync.. Temperature Increases irrespective of Air temperature, which in turn causes wrong altitude value. When Move upside Pressure & temp should decrease.. But only pressure decrease & temp remain same or increase. What is the best way to calculate Altitude ?How to do OPC ?? Thanks In Advance.
