Communication problem

I have communication problems with my STMDT10-DVP3. With LPT it works fine but when using usb the following message appears on screen:

** Connection error (usb://usb): gdi-error in communication: [20522] communication initialization error

I’m working with STVD7 3.00.01 on Win XP Pro SP2.

Any ideas what’s wrong?
