We have purchaed this SM6T68CA and since 10 years we have purchase but this time we got failure in the device. need to know what is the exact issue and why this is getting failed. is it dummy partand if it is dummpy part then how could we identify.  or is it batch issue.  how would we identify the original and duplicate component if duplciate part through marking

Hey everyone!I am trying to understand the snubber design for a 3 phase inverter to reduce ringing. What is the difference between placing the RC snubber:- between each phase output and ground (3x RC snubber)- between drain and source of every mosfet (6x RC snubber)Thank you in advance for help! 

In one project we are using ST1480ABDR (Transceiver) and Baud rate is 115200. One master and 19 Slave connected in star topology. Please find attached reference termination resistor on both side, one at master and only one at slave. Run time our communication disturb. we are using shielded non twisted cable for communication.

I have followed AN2959 and have a bootloader running on an STM8S Discovery board but I cannot make either the command line or GUI based STMFlashLoader programs upload a program - can anyone help?- The command line version always says `No response from the target, the Boot loader can not be started.` and from running the bootloader under debug, I cannot see any attempt to talk to the bootloader- The GUI version does connect but will not upload an `s19` image saying `Cannot find the E_W_ROUTINEs file.  Please make sure you selected the right device...` except that on the previous page, no devices were listed.FWIW, the command-line set-up is port 9 (Windows COM9), 9600, 8, E, 1 but as I say, there is is no indication that the program is trying to send anything!Thanks for any suggestions, even if just debugging tips to try!

Hello, I would like to knowto know, for the ULN2804A, if the logic gates invert or not.If so, is there an equivalence without inverting gates?

I am using the STM8S bootloader via a USB/FTDI.  I can use Wireshark/USBpcap and catch the exchanges and I have a somewhat happy "export packets, parse with Python" method of looking at the exchange.But has anyone already written a proper Wireshark dissector for this?

We want to use this transistor to drive piezoelectric ceramics at 900KHz, 1.7MHz, and 3MHz, which requires about 50W of power.I have the following questions and need help:1. Can this transistor be used at a frequency of 900kHz? Can it only be used in frequency bands above 1MHz?2. The data sheet provides a test circuit under 30MHz conditions. We do not fully understand the functions and principles of the FB2 and T2 components. Can you explain it to us? We guess that the function of this component should be for impedance conversion. Can the FB2 and T2 components be replaced with a simple and easy-to-understand transformer impedance conversion form (FT-43 core) like the previous stage?3. We want to imitate the 30MHz test circuit and apply it directly to the production environment. Are there any other issues worth noting during this process?

The USB PD status register is a combination of 4 registers.The question is when read, are they interpreted as big endian or little endian?so 0x91 0x92 0x93 0x940x91 = bit 0-7, or 28 - 31?0x92 bit 8-110x93 ...0x94 ...The manual and programming guide are not clear .

Hi,We have a custom implementation based around STM32H7 and STM32F1.The application is powered internally by a rechargable 4s li-ion battery.We use USB-PD to charge the device, and USB 2.0 to communicate with the STM32H7 through an external ULPI-PHY. STUSB4500 handles the USB-PD negotiations and logic. VBUS is then passed through a power-MOSFET (STS6P3LLH6) to a battery management IC (BQ24179).We use the following power profiles for PD:PDO1: 5V, 1.5APDO2: 9V, 1.5APDO3: 20V, 1.5AWe use a suitable off-the-shelf USB-PD charger (OKDO FJ-GN236CAN) which supports all the mentioned profiles.We use a custom magnetic contact for the USB (VBUS, GND, CC, D+, D1).Generally it works well, and we are able to charge at PDO3.However, we have discovered that the STUSB4500 is damaged beyond repair if the magnetic connector is connected then reconnected rapidly (typ. less than 500ms).In some of the cases we've had, STUSB4500's VDD pin is burnt right off and its pad on the PDB is also burnt.Do you have an

For these EEPROMs there is a WP pin, which must be (active) low to enable write operations. I am driving this pin from an MCU, (ie. it is not tied to GND).Also these EEPROMs need some time after a write command to effectively write the data into the EEPROM, eg. 3.5 ms max.Now my question is : does the WP need to stay active low during those 3.5 ms after the write command ? 

Trying to find details about this chip. New to this and trying to follow tips to fix a car. This chip i was told was going to be a 93xxx series eeprom but as you can see its not. I cant find anything on it looking up the part number unless im missing something. I need to read the code and change a serial number on it. I understand the process for the 93xxx eeproms to read and write on it but without any info on this one I'm not sure if its even a eeprom or if I'm wasting my time. Any tips would be appreciated. 

AN2659, section 4.1.3 Vector table redirection, says that "The primary interrupt table contains a set of jumps to the user interrupt table" but the same code that accompanies this document does not seem to implement this - does this code just need to be extended?Also AN2659 claims that if I edit the USER BOOTLOADER PROTOCOL PARAMETERS etc in `main.h` then the resulting code will use these but this does not seem to be correct.  For example the pin that triggers the bootloader appears to be hardcoded to GPIOD and ignores the user custom settings.  Did I miss something?

Hello Everyone,I am facing problem in ADC section of  our project schematic. We are using ADS8505 Analog to digital converter as the output of ADC ranges from 0v to 5V and microcontroller which we are using(STM32F413ZGT6) is connected to 3.3 Volts supply voltage we had to incorporate a Low voltage CMOS buffer in between i.e. (74LCX541/SO).There aren't enough test circuit example available on internet for (74LCX541/SO).Please suggest how can we incorporate (74LCX541/SO) with STM32F413ZGT6 microcontroller.Also attaching existing schematic for your reference.

We have recently bought the STGAP2SMTR from DIGIKEY. The pictures of the same is attached to this. I am unable to figure out which pin is pin number 1 (there is no DOT in the IC). I have a development project to monitor some information in an industrial environment in which sensors are built into the board. But I will need to add a modification that allows non-invasive readings of sensors already installed in companies that follow the 4 to 20ma reading standard. I thought about using the hall effect sensor, but as I haven't worked with this technology yet I still have doubts as to whether I would be able to take accurate readings within this current range. It would also be possible to use current sensors with Rsense, but it would be invasive. Could you help me choose a sensor for this application?

I have a very simple main using UART1 and already my application is 7kB!  The web implies that this is because I am getting a lot of UART1 and CLK code built and linked in that I am never using.  One suggestion is to split the UART1 and CLK files into individual "one file per method" codebases, build a library, and then when my application links it will pull in only those methods that I am actually using.However I cannot see how to configure a project to build a library instead of an image.  Could someone point me an example of how to do this please?
