Hello, this is the ECMF4-40A100N10(MIPI DSI ESD protection). I want to implement it in my design and I was wondering if it matters to connect your positive differential pair signals to D1+ and D2+ and negative to D-. Or can  acually flip them? So I connect my negative differential pair signals to D+ and positive to D-. That way I can route it much easier. Thanks

OK, now it's clear: yes, you can do that, because the differential pairs are symmetrical in themselves..

Good luck!

Somehow your idea is still unclear to me:

It does not matter which differential pair you connect to which (paired) port. You must therefore connect one differential line pair to D1+, D1- and the other to D2+, D2-.
But you can't connect one differential line pair to D1+, D2+ and the other to D1-, D2-, because then the common mode filters can no longer do their job.

Does that answer your question?

I am sorry, I maybe overcomplicated it a bit...So my only concern is whether I can route MIPI CLK_P  to D2- and CLK_N to D2+. And the same way on data line. I think there is no problem with that but just to be 100% sure.

Thanks for the reply and Best Regards
