Periodic Timer Interrupt Function

I'm using STR710.

I would like to create an exact 1ms periodic interrupt routine.

I have not found yet, how to modify the counter-register.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the good example, it works and I understand it now.

Is it right, that the timer0-function does not need any output-pins? in your example the Pin P0.1 is only to show the time, isn't it?
