Hello Team,

We need to interface a CT with a microcontroller for current measurement. The required measurement range is 0.01 A to 60 A with a 10 mA resolution.

Please find the attached block diagram for better understanding. We require the reference circuit for the blue highlighted section.

Awaiting your response soon.

Thank you in advance.

ST's power metering range is here:

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Hello Team,

As discussed earlier, we are working on the current measurement application and require your valuable suggestion for the same.

Our current measurement requirement is from 0.01 A to 60 A.

The required measurement accuracy/resolution is 10 mA.

Kindly suggest which CT will be suitable for this application.

Please also suggest the required CT turns ratio for accurate measurement up to 60 A.

Additionally, we also require separate leakage current measurement/detection in the system.

Kindly suggest the suitable approach or recommended solution for leakage current measurement as well.

Please share any suitable reference design, application note, or recommended circuit if available.

Looking forward to your response soon.

Does this have anything to do with ST ?

Look for "Energy Measurement ADCs", e.g. at Analog devices

Just for current measurement, or do you also want to determine energy and/or power, etc ?

Try searches like "Current Transformer CT ADC" or "Current Transformer CT microcontroller", etc, in your favourite internet search engine or AI assistant; eg,

https://www.google.com/search?q=CT+current+transformer+ADC

https://www.google.com/search?q=CT+current+transformer+microcontroller

PS:

Also, does the measurement have to be by current transformer?

Other options are available ...
