STM8s programming and debugging error

Hello,

I need to debug and program an STM8S MCU. However, when I try to debug using IAR, I encounter the following error:
"Failed to set configuration with MCU name STM8S208C6: SWIM error [30006]: Comm init error: chip does not answer."

When I try to program using STVP, I see this error:
"Error: Cannot communicate with the device! Check the SWIM cable connection and check all the needed pin connections on the SWIM connector."

I am using an ST-Link V2 for the connection. I checked the VDD on the board, and it was 5.12V. The programming circuit is as follows:

    Welcome @SpeedyGonzales, to the community!

One side of R1 is connected to C3 and S1, where is the other end of R1 connected?

Can you please upload photos of the ST-LINK (front and back)?

    Regards
    /Peter
