What is the maximum frequency generated with timers ?

Hello,

I'll be pleased, if it is possible to use the timer to provide a 12Mhz clock. Is it possible? What is the maximum frequency? How to?

Is there another mean to get a 12MHz clock?

I dont think you could get 12Mhz from a timer. I could be wrong.

Probably your best bet (Assuming a 48Mhz MCLK) is to use the CKOUT pin. But this means running the APB2 peripherals at 12Mhz also.
