serial communication with MATLAB

hi! I'm using an STM32F103 micro.

I wanna send some data from MATLAB to micro. I'm using ''Keil'' for programming micro. I was wandering whether it is possible to use ''scanf'' in Keil in order to receive data from MATLAB.
