Hall sensor experience

Hi,

Are there any known drawbacks to utilizing a Hall sensor for speed and position feedback in FOC?

How is performance for low speeds?

It's only positive. Except that you need to mount such a sensor of course.

I'm using a hall sensor with quadrature output (ABZ) and it works very well.
