Is this really an n-channel mosfet between IN_HV and L_HV in the SPV1050?

The datasheet shows an n-channel mosfet between the IN_HV and L_HV pins of the SPV1050, but it seems to make more sense if this was a p-channel mosfet. For one thing, I don't think it is guaranteed that the chip will have a high enough voltage source to turn on a high-side mosfet, given that the voltage on L_HV is allowed to go up to 20.3V. Also, the mosfet between STORE and IN_LV is a p-channel, so why not this one?
