L6470 Got(ABS_POS) doesn't start immediately

I have had partial success in using the L6470 eval board.  However, I found that when I issue a GoTo (ABS_POS) command, it doesn't execute right away.  Interestingly enough, it starts executing after I send a ''disable'' command!  (A subsequent ''disable'' command it then necessary to cut power to the motor.)

Any idea what might be going on?  Am I missing a step in this process?

Oops. Never mind. I just found out that I wasn't sending all four of the bytes required by this command, which explains why it wasn't executing right away.
