PC and Emulator connection problems

Hi

Sometimes the system works well. ( ST72141 )

But sometimes the Emulator : ST7 HDS2 Emulator (ST7MDT5-EMU2B) Could not link to PC:

We modified the compatible Parallel Port Modes. But it doesn’t working well

The error messages when started to debugging were shown as follow…

Starting debug session...

-> Emulator reset (LPT1)...

** Connection error (LPT1): gdi-error in hds: communication error with emulator board

-> Failed to connect target.

How can we solve the problem !!

I have the same problem. It seems to be caused by a shutdown/turnon sequence between the emulator and software. I usually turn everthing off then back on and then it starts working again.
