I am having trouble starting our motor due to high inertia. The current is maxed out for starting torque, are there any other solutions?

Now I have a 300 Volt control with a higher resistance and higher inductance, and it will start fine with high inertia.

My 24 V control, which is my problem, has lower resistance and inductance. How would this effect startup if essentially I put the 300 Volt code into the 24 Volt?

When I refer to higher impedance and inductance, I am referring to the motors in which the control is connected.
