We plan to build a high power PMSM controller based on Stm32f303 (for this motor for a start

http://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/motenergy-me1115-brushless-sin-cosine.html

).

Before we start, we are evaluating the FOC library and the existing tools, but the latest version of Stm32100 (v 4.3)  does not seem to support sin/cos encoder. Is it coming in future versions? Could we compute the position and feed it to the 32100 library in real time? Do we need the source code of 32100 to do that? Is it at all possible?

Thank you.

Did you reach a conclusion on this one? I'm wondering about the same.

A more proactive approach might be to contact your local ST sales office, or FAEs
