Due to sr motors does not have permanent magnets driving of them partially different from ac ind motors and bldc motors. There are four different type of driving topology as shown attachment. the most simple one is un,polar wave drive. if you corectly modify stepper motor example given at st web page as unipolar drive mode you can drive sr motor easily. you must combine  on 6 fet  driving circuitry and stepper motor driving example that is different from bldc motors.and must adapt  driving signals frequency and pwm ratios for inverter power stage.
