Voltage drop in L6205

Hallo..

I am using L6205 in parallel connection mode for high current. I have attached a load resistance of 10ohm at output and the Supply voltage is 12 volt. The load resistance was drawing about 1.2Amp current and I was getting 10.3 Volt at the output pin. Why there is such a big drop across switch ?
