Can ST Motor Control Workbench be run on STMG431 using JTAG interface?

Currently I have run ST MCWB on an STMG431 Nucleo board through the USB ST-LINK connection. I now have a custom board and have been using a J-LINK debugger from Segger with Keil. Is it at all possible to communicate through the J-tag or SWD interface with MCWB? I hate to give up the ability to use MCWB on the target manufacturing boards.
