Flash programming while MC Workbench program is running

Hi, I'm going to write a parameter tabe into the last page of the flash in my MC Workbench project running on STM32F302R8. I made some tests and seems that programming the flash while the motor is in IDLE state is working fine. If I program the flash while motor il running I get a bad transient in motor drive. I'd like to know if it is safe programming the flash while the motor is stopped or if it's mandatory to reset the MCU after flash programming to avoid any problem or illegal/corrupted state.
