MC workbench on stspin32f0x: Unable to use TIM3 for hall/encoder when 1-shunt current sensing topology is selected

I try to understand why the TIM3 become unavailable for sensor configuration when we select the 1-shunt topology for current sensing. Is that a limitation of the stspin32f0x or a limitation of the motor control workbench software?
