Hi,

I am trying to spin a BLDC with the STEVAL-SPIN3202.

I get to the point where i can communicate with the board via the ST Motor Pilot and execute commands. However everytime click the Start Button i get the FOC duration fault. Sometimes the Motor spins for a 1/16 turn or so.

Reducing the FOC execution rate did not help.

I am using the workflow with:

Motor Control Workbench 5.Y.1

STM32CubeMX

STM32CubeIDE

I hoe someone can help me

regards Marcus

Decrease the PWM frequency and that should help. (it worked for me)

Try changing the PID values then (try reduing Kp or increasing kd or both). If you are using incremental encoders then the try lowering the input Capture filter duration from the MCWB. Good luck!
