Our FOC algorithm needs three shunts, even if we sample them two by two, and computing the third one.

(sum of the three is theoretically null).

We do require three shunts because depending on the sector, we do not always sample the same phases.

We do have also Single shunt implementation available.

Hope it helps

hi cedric

when put current sensor on out put after igbt no need 3 phase only 2 phase ok ia+ib = ic this method workbench have for stm32f303 bout for stm32g4 disable this option

if used sensor on ground must used 3 shunt because in some sector vector igb low side off cannt read current if put current sensor in out put all time in software can calculated phase no have current

The question has been set only to the "STM32 Motor Control" topic (the question is only about the STM32 MC SDK).

Best regards
