UART communication between Hardware and ST motor control workbench

Hi, I have encounter a problem when I connect esc001v1 to st motor control workbench monitor through UART. I couldnt connect to ST motor control workbench using UART but I can connect to st motor profiler using UART. I am using SDK 5.2 and IAR workbench IDE to download the program into the esc001v1. So is the problem exist in hardware or in software? Anyway to solve this?

Hi,

did you have upload the firmware generated with WB 5.2 in the microcontroller before ? Please check if the WB configuration contains the enabling of UART communication. By default it is enabled.
