Under voltage fault occurs When speed is reduced from 3000rpm to 1000rpm instantly?

Hi,

I am Using Nucleo F446RE and IHM08M1 boards for motor control(24V DC-link). When Motor starts accelerating from 1000 to 3000rpm (step response), the tracking is good and when decelerating from 3000 to 1000rpm (step response), an under voltage fault occurs and motor stops. Need help to solve this issue?

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Vijay Ganisetti

Motors aren't intended to be driven with a step input. Providing a smooth ramp should alleviate the issue.
