X-Cube-MCSDK version 5.Y Introduction
The new release 5.Y of the STM32 Motor Control Software Development Kit (X-CUBE-MCDSK) offers the new SW tool “STM32 MC Motor Pilot�? (real data log capabilities thru customizable interface), support AC Induction Motor and new 6-step control for BLDC motors (as FW example) and many other new features in the FW library (Discontinuous PWM, Single shunt phase shift, Overmodulation, Circle limitation V2 (replacing Legacy Circle limitation).
The STM32 Motor Control SDK 5.Y is a step in between the current legacy version (v5.4.6 ) and the coming V6.0 (planned for beginning 2022).
We use a “Y�? in the naming as FW library is closer to the coming STM32 MC SDK 6.0 while the STM32 Motor Control Workbench, the configurator tool (GUI), is identical with the one present in the STM32 MC SDK4.5.6 (legacy version).
