I am using my custom board PCB with STM32F103C8T6 MCU. I want to give a PWM signal to PB1 pin & want to set PB2 pin to HIGH. While giving the PWM to PB1, although I set PB2 pin status as HIGH, when I measure the voltage of PB2 pin it shows '0V' value. I am using keil uvision to developed the firmware. How do I solve this problem? Can I set PB2 to HIGH while giving a PWM to PB1? 

Hello,I need to implement delay macro, lasting just a few cycles.As the delay is so small I would not like to use TIMs o DWT.On Texas Instruments DSPs, I was used to implement this nanoseconds delays, using NOP() instructions.Unfortunately, as also written in STM32 Programming Manual this is not a good pattern on Cortex processors.On a previous post, related to another issue, I was suggested to use Data Memory Barrier (DMB), Data Synchronization Barrier (DSB), and Instruction Synchronization Barrier (ISB) instructions, instead of NOPs.How can I use this instructions, to implement a few cycles delay macro?Regards,Carlo

Hi, ST community.I'm trying to drive a motor using Nucleo-H503RB.At that time, I want to use DAC pin to watch variables, but I have problem of DAC.<Detail>To use the DAC, I set the PA5 to the DAC in Motor Workbench.I confirmed that when the DAC is set, an offset occurs in ADC values such as bus voltage obtained by PA1 and inverter temperature obtained by PC2.This problem occurs even if the motor or inverter is not connected(Only Nucleo-H503RB).I confirmed two Nucleo-H503RB,but same problem occured.Why does this problem occur?When offset occurs, over voltage error occurs and the motor cannot be rotated.I'll send Workbench files with and without DAC enabled.The software I use to generate F/W is Motor Workbench 6.2.1, EWARM V8(but debug in V9), CubeMX6.10.0, STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1 and control motor by Motor pilot 6.2.1.Please tell me solution.And,STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.1.1 doesn't have Nucleo-H503RB DAC example project.Is it under development?

Hello ST Community.I am currently engaged in a project that involves the use of the I2S bus with the STM32WL55JC1 microcontroller. I’ve been working within the Arduino IDE environment and have come to understand that there isn’t a readily available library for the easy implementation of this bus. From my research, it seems that creating a custom library might be necessary. However, before I proceed down this path, I wanted to reach out to the community to ask if there is a simpler method to utilize the I2S bus on the Arduino IDE with the STM32WL55JC1 Nucleo board. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as it would significantly streamline the development process. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hi,I have configured the Nucleo-L476RG to write to a 64GB exFat Micro SD Card in 4-bit mode using DMA.This appears to work correctly once I navigate around the still present library errors which prevent you from initialising in SDMMC 4-bit mode. You must initialise in 1-bit mode and then change to 4-bit mode as described in https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/sdio-interface-not-working-in-4bits-with-stm32f4-firmware/td-p/591776.My issue is that when I scope the data lines D0, D1, D2 and D3 the only line which toggles is D0. The timing between 1-bit and 4-bit mode has also been raised in https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/sd-card-read-write-mode-speed-same-in-sd-1-bit-mode-and-sd-4-bit/td-p/313236 which suggests the micro may be operating with only one data line.I have tried various SDMMC1 clock speeds and SDMMCCLK Clock divide factors and nothing seems to make a difference. Dose someone know if it is possible to use TM3 in Encoder Mode. And also get the internal detected counts for each input. I use TIM3 channel 1 and 2 for the encoder.many thanks

I'm working on a custom board with a F446RET6 and testing through some code bits. I've been able to successfully test that the board programs and functions with a led-blink style program. My problem is that I'm attempting to use CAN2; I'm trying to test via loopback but I'm having issues getting any type of IRQ for a receive. I feel like its something basic I'm missing here but after reading through some other posts I'm either brain-dead or missing something.currently using the HSI clock but I wouldn't think that would matter for loopback testing (understand for the "real" thing would be best to use the HSE).RX GPIO is set to pull-upVerified (after looking at some old posts using an older version of Cube) that the CAN1 clock is being initializedAlso I understand that the "CAN2" device is really the "slave" to CAN1. Hello, i am trying to interface TI's ADS8910 (18bit SAR ADC) to an STM32F730 via normal SPI, since i am unsure whether QSPI will work.I want to achieve the full 18 bit @1MSa, which is possible when working with 54MHz (/2 APB2 prescaler on the F730 which runs at full speed - 216MHz) and the ADC's zone 2 transfer. The HAL implementation of dma transfer is way to slow between consecutive readouts and thus gets stuck "busy" and "locked" forever after the first readout. Therefore i am currently trying to write everything myself. My question is regarding the SPI CR2 register, bits 6 & 7 (RXNEIE and TXEIE):Will the DMA requests, mentioned in Bits 0 & 1 (RXDMAEN and TXDMAEN) still be generated when the interrupts are masked?I don't want my program to be interrupted more than neccessary. the flow should be :F7 gets an interrupt that signals that the ADC has finished conversion and is ready to send the new data.SPI transfers 3x 8bits // or 2x 11bits (the ads 8910

Hello,I'm working on a cutom made board controlled by an STM32F303ZET, I figured out that I forgot to pull up D+ for USB communication, even doing it externally keep showing me this error. I tried to pull up the D+ using 3.3V directly and also by pulling another pin HIGH. How can I resolve this problem ? 

The STM32USB library calls the function CDC TransmitFS, which can only be sent in the CDC ReceiveFS loop and data in the main. The cdc ->TxState flag has always been 1, so only the USBD_cDC SetTxBuffer was successfully called. However, the USBD_cDC TransmitPacket, USBD_cDC DataIn, and subsequent CDC TransmitCplt cannot be called.There are two solutions to watching the forum: 1. Place it in an interrupt with the same priority as USB and call CDC TransmitFS to send it. Only the call succeeds 2. 'Call this function EP0_RxReady before sending. But both methods can cause the program to freeze.Both CDC_Receive_FS and CDC_Transmit_FS are implemented in usbd_cdc_if. c. Calling CDC_Receive_FS in CDC_Receive_FS can send and receive messages in a normal loopback. The following is the implementation of two functions：    

Hello,I am using an STM32H755 dual core chip and occasionally, our reset reason (RCC_RSR) is decoding to have only theD1RSTF bit and D2RSTF bit set.  Per the documentation, it does not seem this is an expected combination alone...Per table 56 in section 9.4.4, seems only valid reasons with either of those bits set are:(doc I am referring to is the ref_manual_rm0399-stm32h745755-and-stm32h747757-advanced-armbased-32bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics-2.pdf) Power-on reset (pwr_por_rst) - but this should have an additional 3 bits (PORRSTF, PINSTF, and BORRSTF bits)D1 exits DStandby mode - but this should only have D1RSTF  set  (and, not using standby currently)D2 exits DStandby mode - but this should only have D2RSTF  set (and again, not using standby currently) Am I misinterpreting the table? Any other thoughts? thanks,-mike

Hi, I am new to stm32 microcontroller. I am finding difficulty to render my html page using azure rtos. As I have seen the example of stm32f429zi nx_Webserver. First of all  I could not find html files in the example folder.However with other GitHub code I could see the html (index.html n dashboard. html). I created my own html page in my project I am using stm32f439zi. I am not able to render my html page. Not getting how to create bin file.i followed the procedure as given in the fileX document. Still can not figure out.please help me

Hi  I'm trying to read a 2.5V signal through internal adc as soon as I connect the signal to the gpio pin of stm there is shift(to positive side)in the signal and also generating the noise upon seeing through oscilloscope. Also made ground connection.

My I3C target don't send ACK after controller send an arbitration header ,and it will generate a DOVER flag and ERRF flag. ex.Send HAL_I3C_Ctrl_IsDeviceI3C_Ready before controller transmit data.Send HAL_I3C_DIRECTION_READ and so on

Hello,Currently i'm working on STM30F030 controller.I want to connect TFT display with this controller, display has three pin for SPI (SDA,SCL & CS) and used only for write operation.so how to configure controller for 3-wire SPIIf i have to connect MOSI(controller) pin with SDA(display)and left MISO pin as it is, it is ok ?any problem occur during communication if MISO is floating ?Thank you

Hi,Just started working on a project based on the STM32F446RET MCU. Using the CubeIDE framework (code generated from .ioc file) and having some trouble with USB OTG FS Device mode. If I enable VBUS sensing, then the  USB doesn't enumerate. What's not clear to me is what I need to implement/do regarding the VBUS sense pin. The circuit is correct and wired into PA9, but is there an interrupt handler that I need to add? Any function that needs to be called when VBUS is detected? Thanks!
