Bluetooth LE compatibility in STM32F4 Discovery?

Hi,

I am trying to design an App for Android and IOS, so I need to use an Bluetooth 4.0 . The problem is that I work with STM32F4 Discovery board, and it won't correctly communicate with the BLE (I think, I'm using a SH-HC-08 and also tried SH-06).

When I tried to connect it works, but it's not capable to transmit any information.

I am using the UART functions and when I tried it with an HC-05 (Bluetooth 2.0) It works correctly:

Is there an incompatibility problem? Do I have to use another function? If that is the case, can you suggest me some resource instead or guide me in the right direction?

Could you please give me a hand?
