Question

Is there any intention to create sample code for STM32CubeIDE?

I am using the STM32WB55 Nucleo board and the firmware pack (currently at 1.7.0) includes examples for the standard set of IDEs (EWARM,MDK-ARM & SW4STM32). I can import the SW4 project into the STM32CubeIDE, but it does not retain the link to the CubeMX file (which is in the root folder of the project).

Is there any intention to update these firmware packs to the include ST's "preferred" compiler? It seems this should be the priority if they would like to get people to use it!

The next CubeMX version will include new FW packs with a better integration with CubeIDE that will enable the move back and both in between the 2 tools thanks to the availability of the .ioc fie in the project under CubeIDE.

Thank you for the information, that will be really useful! Do you have any idea when that release is likely to be?
