stm32wb55 with STM32CubeIDE

I've been following the stm32wb workshop using the stm32cubeIDE and i been running in to some difficulties, due to all the documentation being out of date and also unable to run any of the examples on the cubeIDE, has anybody managed to create a project using a custom template?
