Adding Keil To Project Tools

Absolute Newbie here trying to do my first project. I haven't figured out how one gets to write their code and where. I take it we are to use Keil for that part and I do have it installed from other uC work a couple of years ago. Was this supposed to be added to some sort of toolchain during software installation so that it pops up automatically after Code Generation is executed ? If so, can I add it now ? Thanks.
