[CubeMX regression]Failed to generate code with 4.22.1

The new CubeMX 4.22.1 fails to generate code (and hangs on generation) for a STM32 workbench project which has been successfully generated with the previous versions.

Here is the command line output from the problem:

I am using Linux please see the ioc file attached. The error also occurs when generating blank project.

This issue only happened with an updated 4.22.1 CubeMX. After reinstallation it works fine.
