STM32CubeMX 4.5.0 won't load BlueNRG extension for x_cube_ble1

Hallo,

I have a STM32L053 eval board with a Bluetooth X-NUCLEO-IDB04A1 board added on top. When I try to get STM32CubeMX to load the extension for BlueNRG, x_cube_ble1.zip, it gives me the message

''This Package version is not managed on this version of STM32CubeMX''.

Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this?

same problem here.

It occures with version 4.6.0 too. Does anybody have a solution?

Hello,

such extensions are not supported by STM32CubeMX tool as of now.

The extension is only said to be a ''Cube'' extension because this solution relies on STM32Cube HAL libraries.

Is it any way to get STM32CubeMX to load the extension for BlueNRG or BlueNRG-MS for any STM hardware?

Are there any links to the legacy STM32Cube software that don't ultimately lead to STM32CubeMX? Any ETA when MX will import these expansion libraries of Middleware? I would like to develop for the NFC chip, but showing a client that it works is getting more difficult all of the time.
