We are using your TS512 with (+/-15V rails) as a low current (1mA), 10V voltage follower. We have a test case where the output the TS512 is pulled to a 19V/100mA source for just 600us, and I am trying to assess whether this transient could internally damage Q29 or Q30 or anything else in the o amp (referring to TS512 schematics from datasheet, see also below).My understanding is that during such transient the negative feedback would try to pull the output down to -15V to counter back that transient, hence Q29 would be cut-off and R13 would prevent the B-E junction from breakdown. On the other hand Q30, I think it would be almost fully "on", which would potentially create a differential voltage across R14 of 19-(-15)=34V. The question is: 1. Would the output still limit to 25mA so would R14 be safe -and by extension TS512- during those 600us)?2. Is there any other considerations to take into account to assess the robustness of this part under this transito

I would like to use TSC103 in a system where the power line to be monitored is 48Vdc (63V maximum peak or steady state) and the ADC acquisition system is powered by a 5V voltage independent from the 48V line; so my doubt is if any failure can occur if the main monitored 48V line is present but 5V for Vcc is missing. Datasheet is not explicitly mentioning this operating condition, will it work without risk of damage? NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. In the data sheet for TSX339 it says in chapter 6.1: "The output state is guaranteed as long as one input remains within the common modeinput voltage range (defined in the operating conditions table), and the other input remainsbetween -0.3 V and 16 V (meaning that one input can be driven above VCC+)."Is the same true for LM2901, i.e. one input within the common mode input voltage range and the other input between -0.3 V and 36 V?

Hello,I am using STA326 now and try to ​make mono setting.There is descrived the 1 Channel mono-parallel setting (addr: 0x05 value: 0xDF)but looks like output volume was lower than stereo.Is there another register setting?Let me know please.

If the offset voltage drift is above 15uV/°C is there any tighter part available? 

I have built a circuit based on the tda7293 and it has burned instantly when connected.I have reviewed the layout but it has no errors.I am using Vs=36V and -Vs =-36V. The bootstrap capacitor is 22uFx50V. Is that capacitor well chosen?Do I have to use one with a working voltage greater than 2xVs?Please clarify the working voltage of the capacitors in the manual.

HI, I am using ST mosfet (part NO STP28N65M2) in High input AC voltage limiting circuit (as per AN2652) where Q2 MOSFET is STP28N65M2. and D3 diode is 6.8V zener.The product was operative from 2 month. and After that i found that MOSFET was open.on Debugging it, i found that Gate and source are showing 1V in multimeter ( on fresh sample it is open, probabbly one of the protection diode between gate and source is short)I could not able to figure the root cause why this has happe.Can you please let me know the reason for Gate to source diode getting short.RegardsManish

I HAVE USED IT IN A TEST CIRCUIT TO CHECK /VERIFY ITS SPECS.APPLIED VOLTAGE ACROSS ANODE/CATHODE IS 13.2 V DC.GATE TRIGGER VOLT IS 1.6V DC +SCR LOAD CURRENT IS 26MA. UNDER THIS CONDITION, THE SCR IS GETTING LATCHED & HOLDING ON EVEN WITHNO GATE INPUT .

The datasheet of the TDA7294 audio amplifier suggests a bridge topology through Fig. 25 on page 13 of the datasheet. The design seems elegant as it does not use any external op-amps to generate complimentary signals.However I have a few questions/ concerns:Is this the best approach to implement the bridge topology since it uses the output of one IC as input to the next?How will it compare in terms of performance parameters (noise and distortion etc.) to the one that uses an externally generated complimentary signals?Will an electrolytic capacitor in series with the 680E resistor help minimizing the DC at the amplifier output? Should this capacitor be bi-polar electrolytic instead of polar, for better performance?Thanks in advance!!Ravindra.

Hi dear, I'm trying to set up an audio amplifier with quad half bridge STA515W.I've attached the schematic; is there anything I'm making wrong?Every time I solder in my custom PCB it blows up immediately. Please note that the circuit was designed for STA516B, so Vcc should be 50v, but now with STA515W is 24v.

Hi,We are planning to use STPM33TR in one of our switch gear product, this ADC has in built temperature compensation, and we wanted to have temperature compensation for line voltage channel should be done from external temperature sensor (far away installed from ADC), Is there any product or ADC (Similar to STPM33TR) which can sense voltage, current and external temperature do the temperature compensation and has all types of metering calculations.  RegardsPradeep

I am using the STA350BW​. While I tried to change the output gains by writing register 0x07, a noise showed up. I found that it is something relative to DRC and when the DRC is enabled, ZCE seems not work.How can I eliminate the zipper noise while tuning volume. Thanks.

I have connected a Quad ADC (ADAU1978) to I2C2 peripheral of STM32F407VGT. I ahve also enabled I2S2 peripheral to get audio data from the ADAU1978.I am using HAL API HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady to check whether the slave is acknowledging or not. This API returns a HAL_ERROR always. However if i simply make a project with only I2C2 enables the API works fine and returns HAL_OK.

I'm trying to work with P-Nucleo-IKA02A1 but I have some problems: 1) The data of CO that I take from the electronic circuit board with the software UNINUCLEO are not  plausible. The value (made in ppm) is negative and, after a small  physical pressure on the board, it changes to 2600 ppm more or less. Moreover the value doesn't change even if I create an initial fire on the transducer.2) How can I send the data via BLE to an Android application?

I am using TS393 micropower dual CMOS Comparator for last 8-10 years, in my schematic. The PCB is heavily lacquered to protect against moisture damage.Today, in one working board, my team was changing TS393 associated resistor. After the change we noticed the Baord has short circuit in its power pins.Which was traced to Vcc+[pin8] Vcc- [pin 4] of the TS393.What could be the reason for such a absurd failure ?I checked the faulty TS393 chip, does not have any other pins of the six pins shorted with Vcc+ or Vcc-.Curious to know what all can lead to such internal shortage in TS393 power pins ?-Namdeo PatilSenergy Intellution Pvt LtdMumbai, India
