Hi..I have soldered a Teseo-LIV3 on a PCB with acces to power and RX/TX and nothing more. I read the NMEA strings, but no satellite data is present.Is it correct understood that Teseo-LIV3 can not operate without an external antenna? If so.....what does "stand alone module" mean?RegardsKenneth

I was looking to send instructions to X-NUCLEO using I2C , especifically the GetPos_I2C example but I dont know how set X-NUCLEO bord to recieve I2C instructions without the teseo-suite firmware. Hi, I am trying to get GPS coordinate with my PCB, which has just TESEO LIV3F. I connect the RX and TX of the TESEO LIV3F to RX,TX of arduino uno. I can see the NMEA information in my serial port put i couldn't get any GPS coordinate. I have attached the schematic. I am using Power Switch TPS22943DCKR. I am just connecting RX and TX of TESEO LIV3F to arduino but i have also ANT_off pin in the board which i dont know if it should be connected. measure the RF Vcc voltage and it's 3.3v. I am using active antenna Best regards  

Hi, I bought TESEO-Liv3f  module from mouser. when i made the PCB i was not able to get NMEA information and not even GPS coordinate. I checked if there is connectivity in my board and found out there is connectivity between RX and GND. I tried another TESEO-Liv3f module as stand alone so it is not on the PCB, when i checked the pins using multimeter on the module itself i found out it has the same problem RX of the module connect internally with GND of the module. It looks like it's manufacturer issues. or what?Best regards

I made a PCB using Teseo-LIV3F as stand alone, tried to connect TX and RX of the module to Arduino TX and RX using I TinyGps++ library, but I couldn't get any response from the module. I tried to connect the module to software and hardware serial of the Arduino and couldn't also get any response. When I connect the module to USB to TTL I could get response. I am using an active antenna. I have attached the schematic which I am using. Hope to get some help to solve my problem.Best regards

Hello,I’m looking into buying a Teseo LIV3x module (one of both). What I saw in the datasheets is that they accept RTCM messages, is that true? Does this mean that if I give the module these messages, it will output corrected nmea sentences?I saw that there is a binary which you can flash so that it outputs raw measurement data. So theoretically I should be able to use it with RTKlib?I was searching for answers on these questions, but can’t find much info on this. I dont need to make myself a RTK base station, because in my country (Belgium), there is a free service (FLEPOS), which we can use to get NTRIP. kind regardsRaf

Hi, this is the TESEO LIV3 block diagram, as you can see it haves an embedded ARM CPU, but why is this CPU needed whether anyway I need an external uC to send the commands using the UART to control de GNSS module?, thanks,

Hi, the user manual of the ST8089FG mentions an internal antenna and splitter but the datasheet does not talk about it, and even if they were external in the ADC hardware reference design the document does not indicates the model of the splitter or the antenna and does not specify if it is a patch, chip, smd, active or passive internal antenna that must be implemented, or when should be implemented, thanks

Hi, the STA8089FGBD is an GNSS IC that supports DRAW, but it does not integrate an embedded IMU, I want to connect an external IMU to be able to use DRAW, but I cant find any hardware or sofware reference design to achieve this, does anybody have any idea about a reference guide or something like that?, ST has the TESEO3DRAW EVB to develop this solutions but what happen when you want to desig your own PCB with that solution?, there is no documentation to do that (at least I have not found it), thanks

Hi, I have TESEO-LIV3F , I want to power the GPS when it's needed. I have backup battery connect to VBAT because i want to have hot start . 1- In my case how much current draw from the GPS when only VBAT powered? It says in data sheet 6uA as hardware standby, Is it the case when I just power VBAT? 2- what is the difference between hardware standby and software standby? and why software standby current is 12uA?Thanks

I am working with Teseo-Liv3F to test NMEA0183 strings over BLSP UART 12 on my board.wanted to know how reset and wakeup are used to monitor UART transfers ?How can we enable GPGLL, GPVTG on the module to obtain NMEA strings?To test the antenna used is : FR-01-S4-224 ,also gpsmon application and gpsd daemon .I am unable to get location fixed , only empty strings are coming.Is there any info about ways to check firmware file is updated, or to flash the binary on the Teseo-Liv3F module ?Thanks in advance.

TeseoIII GNSS stops responding after continuous operation of more than a few hours.No NMEA or PPS output. Only GNSS reset resumes operation. This happens on both DR and non DR parts.Attached BIN firmware file. Could you please check, maybe some settings are not correct and may cause it to stop working?

I am currently using the Teseo-Liv3F GPS module. I designed my print as mentioned in your UM2231 User manual Teseo-LIV3 GNSS Modules - Hardware Manual. The GPS antenna is currently underneath the Teseo-Liv3FUnfortunately, when I use Teseo Suite software, it tells me that the module can't find any signals and I don't know why.
