I have tried using sim and rim and it works for now.However the above method got me confused. What do I do for POP ISR_CC ? Please suggest me exact ways. I have found this inside a blog. Hello,STM8S208RB microcontroller. Pins PA4 and PA5 do not work in push-pull mode. Why? I haven't tried it in other modes. HiIn our design, we incorporated the IMS T225-F20E component. This part necessitates a clock with a frequency of 5 MHz. According to note 3 in the attached image, crystal oscillators with a 200 ppm (parts per million) tolerance can be employed. However, this information pertains to scenarios where two devices are connected together by a link. Now, the question is: What is the allowable tolerance for the clock oscillator if only one device is used?”I am currently working on crystal aging analysis. It would be beneficial if you could furnish the allowable tolerance data for the device.   Thanks in advance

ST visual Develop Version 4.3.12!  running on Windows 10.I have set this up with the Cosmic toolkit and can build images for my ST8 processor but can I run the simulator without STLink?Apologies for such a newbie question - first time I've tried to develop anything for this processor so happy to receive "go read this responses" :-).Papadeltasierra.

EV BD (STEVAL-FKI915V1) does not set the frequency accurately.1) When power on, it is set to 924.601317MHz.It is said that the S2-LP has a built-in Fractional PLL,but why can't the correct frequency be set?2) After that, the frequency continues to shift to the lower side.3) What was the reason?2. Can you send me the register setting values that meet the conditions I want to use?

Hi, We are using STM M24256-DFCS6TP/K 256-Kbit serial I²C bus EEPROM. We want to read and write the whole memory inside the EEPROM data. Are there any commands available in the u-boot and kernel test? and also if I want to read a particular location how can I read it? Please give me the solution.   Thanks. Saravanan

I am using STEVAL-SPIN3202 to drive BLDC motors other than specified in the user manual - Bull-Running BR2804-1700 kV, RS Pro 57BL54 and Faulhaber Minimotor 2036U024B. No error messages observed in ST Motor pilot. But motor does not spin.Let me know the solution.

Hey there , how can I find info to conect my STM32 with higher voltage devices , for digital inputs and outputs I have 24vcc and analogic inputs and outputs -10 to 10v, I want to conect they safely to not burn my chip.

I am looking for a alternative chip to replace an obsolete part.The part is a ST UAA4003DP This a 16 pin chip used in a DC motor drive to control the motor speed.I can't find any information on this other than the fact that it is obsolete.. I did find a data sheet for a UAA4000 chip, but it is for a remote control transmitter.

Hi,I want to learn how to write a proper sensor library. I am aware that every sensor has specific way to work but i need to understand coding details. For example should use only one struct for writing and reading registers or maybe seperate structs for each register field like result, configuration, low limit, high limit etc.. Should i use static variable for my configuration struct or should user can create its own variable and push it to my configuration function. I'm trying to figure out best solutions for these kind of problems. Is there any kind of standart or guide? I would be appreciate if you'll enlighten me.RegardsFurkan

Hi. If the device is received with no ECOPACK on packaging, does it mean it is NOT ROHS-compliant?However, datasheet says it is supposed to be in ECOPACK packages.   Is there any other way to confirm if the device is ROHS or NON-ROHS compliant?  

Hello,I'm currently encountering an issue with my project, which is used to load .s19 files onto target devices (specifically STM8) via the SWIM protocol.Previously, the functionality was seamless when there was no external power supplied to the target device or when the power was disconnected after programming.However, I'm now facing difficulties in programming the target device without interrupting the power supply.While I'm able to enter the SWIM debug mode and successfully load the program, it appears that the device remains stuck in debug mode afterward.Even attempts to exit debug mode by sending the default value to the SWIM_CSR register or performing a hardware reset have proven unsuccessful.The only way seems to be cutting off the power supply and then turning it back on.Could you kindly provide guidance on any overlooked aspects or steps that I might have missed in this process?   

Hi, I have been looking for information about how video upscaling is handled by TVs and videoprojectors, because I would like to add features to devices in this domain.I recently read on an internet forum that upscaling techniques were only mastered by a few laboratories, one being Faroudja, a company which is now part of STMicroelectronics.Is it true that STMicroelectronics produces chips handling video upscaling for the TV/videoprojector industry?If so, how wide is this production? Is it only for a few brands, many, or all of them? Kind regards.

Hi,I'm using the latest EEPRMA2 drivers for the M95M04 EEPROM. I'm trying to store data in EEPROM on a specific address.In the following example, I expect one byte to be written to address 5.uint8_t a = 10;uint32_t targetAddr = 5;EEPRMA2_M95_WriteData(EEPRMA2_M95M04_0, &a, targetAddr , sizeof(a));Stepping into EEPRMA2_M95_WriteData, we go into M95_spi_WriteData which still has the size of 1, but moving to the step where EEPRMA2_SPI_SendBuffer is called, the size has changed to 6 bytes to be written. It looks like the size is defined from the remainder, which is based on the following equation: ( targetAddress + Size ) % PageSizeI don't see how this can be correct implementation?Edit: I seems like this person has the same problem https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/X-CUBE-EEPRMA1/issues/4
