Hello everybody,I was designed a SMPS with Viper222XS for my project. I need to 400ma current for my project. its start with 100mA at soft start and going to 400mA immidiatly after pushhing run button. But I have some problem at here. SMPS was goes to down when current request is going to 400mA. I was build E-Design shema without coil configuration. Because of I could not find 1.2mH coil, so I used to 1mH coil at there. I guess Viper goes to shutdown because of over current protection.Is there anyway to diable Viper's over current protection. Any else how can I have stable output with this currentPlease urgent help

Hello.I want to control multiple solenoids using multiple FET switches and isolate all these solenoids from the circuit in case of trouble using large FET switches.But I got into trouble looking at the specs. I don't know how long the IC can withstand the current.For example, if you look at the data sheet of VN9004AJTR, the current limitation (type.) is 108A, and the Iout says Internally limited.The Ron also says On-state resistance / Iout = 15 A, TJ = 25°C / 4.2 mΩ.I use a battery voltage of 12-14V. Which number is correct?108?15?Is 108A the limit current value that the IC can withstand in the event of a short circuit problem, and is 15A the maximum current value that can be output under normal conditions?It's an urgent situation. Please help me.Or is the Reverse DC output current value a value that can withstand? I have a load that flows about 8-9A when all the loads are activated.

I am using Viper27HD integrated circuit. RC snubber structure is not recommended for the diode in the secondary output on the datasheet and edesignsuite.Resonance occurs between the secondary leakage inductance of the transformer and the parasitic capacitance of the diode and the peak level increases even more in the reverse voltage and damages the diode.Why RC snubber is not recommended for the diode in the secondary output? 

I am designing a new SMPS for my project I need 350mA at 15V but I could not get more than 100ma. when I reach to 100mA output voltage was start to decrease. when current goes to 200mA, output is like a sinusodial signal from 9v to 15V. I design my SMPS with E-design suit but its not working stable. I need urgent help    

Good morning, I have got a couple quick questions about the TCPP01-M12 chip:Does the OVP protection on CC lines works passively? (no voltage on VCC pin) I am talking about connecting/disconnecting USB plug conditions.What happens when there is permanent VBUS-to-CC short?I want to use the chip in conditions where the whole device is powered with 5 V and consuming less than 500 mA in total, no PD required. I've encountered an issue while simulating a schematic in the eDsim software. I attempted to create a schematic resembling the reference design by exporting the schematic of a 100W flyback converter from the online tool of ST eDesign suite. I then made some modifications to it, such as adding voltage divider resistors to mimic the function of the USB PD controller. I referred to the datasheet of the USB PD controller STUSB4710 for the resistance values of the voltage divider( R1=100K, R3=8k87 to have 15V, R4=2K49 to have 12V, R5=4K42 to have 9V and R6= 16K2 to have 5V). During the simulation, I was able to obtain the 20V, 15V, and 12V PDOs, but I couldn't get the other two PDOs, 9V and 5V, to show up. My objective is to display all five PDO output voltages I can't see where is the problem wether in the resistance value or something else. Additionally, for synchronous rectification, I replaced the Schottky diode with a MOSFET. I attempted to mimic the function of the SR

From the application schematics of VNF9Q20F, seperating my ground planes for CReg and DVcc but wouldnt DEV_GND (straight from the VNF9Q20F at the bottom) be connected as well instead of to battery ground? Shown as the drawn orange connection. Or both? 

Hello everyone,  I am designing a PCB and I want a power path selector which can change the source between USB and Battery.Can I do this with STMPS2141STR ? I cannot find a circuit or an application note. This is my design is that correct ? Can somebody explain to me please

@unknown, There is no mention on how to actually perform writes to the FTP (Few Times Programmable) memory in the Data Sheet.  

Hello, Looking through the data sheet for the STWBC86, there doesn't appear to be a way to write to the FTP (Few Times Programmable) memory, nor save individual configuration register values over i2c.  Any register values are only written to RAM and lost upon reboot... No worries, use the FTP memory for the config, but there doesn't appear to be a command in the data sheet to either: Saving register values to the FTP Memory one at a time Using an address to write the header values for config / patch to (nor the process, if it differs from just writing all bytes to the specified address) If neither is possible which would be strange, what's the recommended process to program the chip at the factory?

I am having difficulty locating information regarding some diodes. These diodes are either zener or TVS.Can anyone help me identify it? A link to a cross reference information page would be really helpful. Will be looking to source them for repair projects.Thank you for your time and efforts.

I'm currently controlling a closed loop stepper motor with an Arduino Uno R3 via the CL86 stepper motor driver. I also connected 2 buttons with pull-down resistors with which I can, for example, rotate the stepper motor by 90 degrees in one direction. The control works so far, but the buttons also trigger when I touch their cables (e.g. the pull-down resistor) and also the stepper motor (metallic surface). Why is that the case? Anyone have a tip?

Hi, We like to use the STUSB4500 without having it to progamm via the I2C. So we need to use the standard configuration. If I understand well, these are has 3 PDOs: 5v/1.5A - 15V/1.5A and 20V/1A.However, the 20V/1A is too high. Is there a way to prevent the 20V/1A. and to only have the two PDOs  5v/1.5A - 15V/1.5A active. (without to programm the I2C)Thanks,Olaf

Hi, I've been tasked with repairing an old analogue/mechanical instrument cluster from a Ford Transit van. The fuel and temp gauge instrument was not working. I determined that the voltage regulator wasn't working. It has labels of '950A' and '81AB-C2A'.Trying to research '81AB-C2A' I get very few results, a post in a Ford Transit forum where someone apparently successfully replaced one with a 9v 'TS 7809 CZ', and a listing of some old stock in Poland that seems to have the '81AB-C2A' part number and also has the part number 'L2610CV'. I found a datasheet for L2610CV which is a 10v output model, but I'm not 100% certain the association of the two part numbers is correct.I ended up ordering a small set of 'L7810CV' instead which seem to have very similar specs to 'L2610CV', but supporting up to 1.5A instead of 0.5A.Having fitted it and the owner having tested the unit back in the vehicle, the instrument is working, except the fuel gauge is pegged at maximum

hi.I configured a centralized BMS using three STM32L431 and AEK-POW-BMS63ENA.Instead of using a battery, a battery pack was implemented using a DC power supply and a fixed resistor.(Refer to the picture below)When DC150V is applied, the voltage of each resistor should be 3.75V.However, I confirmed that the voltage came out differently.[ Voltage data for AEK-POW-BMS63ENA(1)]

Hi I am working on a project using stwlc38 and stwbc86.They charge well, but the charging distance is an issue.I need it to be able to charge at a distance of around 2.5T, but when I go beyond 2T it won't charge.So, I put a Tx coil like the one I used on a ready-made Tx module and tested it, and it charges up to 2.5T.What should I improve to increase the charging distance?Rx, Tx, Coil, or any method, please let me know if you have any suggestions. How do i control the angle of the motor? I think I need to change the voltage I enter into the potentiometer, what should I do?  

Hi Sir,Can the configuration registers of the ALED7709 be stored in the ALED7709, or must they be controlled via I2C by the MCU every time? There shows "This variant is the most generic one, it must be controlled through I2C since at POR almost all registers are clean." in the datasheet page 53.Does it mean ALED7709 cannot store configuration? 

Hello,I have built chargers with the L6924D and they do what they should, charging and detection and error-reporting works.The charger is not permanently connected to the battery but has a 3 pin spring loaded connector. Sometimes there is a connection missing because of dirty contacts or something similar and it does not charge. If GND an NTC are connected, it will report an Error because no Charge current flows. if GND and Bat+ are connected, it will report because of temperature out of range. The only problem I have is when Bat+ and NTC are connected, but GND is missing. The L6924D will output PWM Signals with around 1kHz and a ratio of 90% für Status1 and 10% for Status2.Any idea what could be the Problem?Attached you can find the schematic. Additional info to the schematic:-bottom left is a discrete transistor logic, which just makes three LEDs out of the two status-outputs. blue when Status1, green when Status2, red when Status1&2, all off
